It's been a while, so it's time again for another event. This month's event will even include another Car Wars match. If you weren't one of the few that joined us last month, then you're overdue. Be there, this Saturday from 3-9pm.

There's a fresh copy of Bohnanza in the Prize Vault this month. It could be yours, or one of the other options perhaps. All you gotta do is show up, sign up and win.

In case you're curious about the Car Wars match for this month, I'm planning a div 10 team first-death game for up to ten players (two teams of five max). If there's extra time, we'll also do a div 40 last-man-standing death match. If you miss it, it'll be another three months before we play again.

So, with all of that excitement right on the horizon, you owe it to yourself to join us for GAMES! on Saturday. Oh yeah, and bring a friend along too. See ya there!

Due in part to the wedding and the Kernels game, attendance was a near-record-low 13 people this month. Hopefully we'll do better next month (July's event will include our quarterly Car Wars autoduel, so that should draw at least a few—I know I wouldn't miss it). Even with a lighter crowd, we managed to play a variety of games including: Cargo Noir, Agricola, Car Wars: The Card Game, Pandemic, Lost Cities: The Board Game and Tsuro.

Rick would have won the door prize, except he was ineligible, so Tatum won it instead and selected Small World. We've got a copy of Bohnanza that's been waiting to get added to the vault for over a year, so we'll put that in for next time.

The next event will be here in just four weeks, on July 9th, and will include some Car Wars action. I'm thinking a team-based deathmatch at the moment, but I haven't had much free time to plan a good strategy for it yet. Anyway, whether you enjoy motoring mayhem or something entirely different, we'll have something there for you at the July GAMES! so bring an enemy and challenge them to a game of something you enjoy playing; even if you lose, you'll still have fun. It seems like our last event was just yesterday, but it's time for another already. Of course, you could always get married or go to a Kernels game instead, but it would probably be easier (and cheaper) to just come play games and eat pizza. We'll be doing both this Saturday, from 3-9pm.

As previously mentioned, we've added Small World to the Prize Vault this month. It isn't the first copy of Small World that we've given away, but it could be the first copy of Small World that you've won at GAMES! Of course, you can't win if you don't enter and you can't enter if you don't come to GAMES! this month.

Since there are some people getting married this Saturday, I'll be staffing the kitchen, but it'll otherwise be a normal event and, as usual, fun for all. Grab your friends (unless they're in the wedding or at the ballpark) and come to GAMES! this Saturday, June 11th.
