GAMES! is coming again, this Saturday, 3-9pm and once again will include Car Wars. It'll be a memorable experience whether you're building your civilization (Catan), laying tracks across the US or Asia (Ticket To Ride), blowing your opponents to smithereens (Car Wars) or exploring your favorite dungeon.

We haven't purchased the new Prize Vault game yet, so it'll be a surprise (based on what's in stock at Battlezone Games, most likely), but it'll definitely be something good.

There is a reasonably good chance that the August event will get canceled, so this may be your last chance to attend GAMES! until September; don't miss it. Bring a game and a friend, and we'll see you there.

Despite the sunny day outside, we had 26 people playing games with us inside, including such things as: Shadows Over Camelot, Bubble Talk, Settlers Of Catan, Mille Bornes, Cargo Noir, Fluxx, and Dogfight.

Megan won the door prize drawing and selected Alien Frontiers for her free game. We've exhausted our backlog of previously purchased/donated strategy games, so we'll look through the suggestions (from the entry slips) and pick something up before the next event that you really want.

Next month's event is NOT on the second Saturday of the month, primarily because we'll be in DSM at a wedding on the 14th. Instead, make plans to join us for GAMES! on Saturday, July 7th (the first Saturday of the month), if for no other reason than to try out Car Wars. Tell everyone you know about GAMES! and make sure to adjust your calendar by a week so you don't miss it. It'll be a great time, even if it feels like the wrong time (but it's still four weeks away, so it won't be that awkward).

This Saturday, 3-9pm, experience board gaming like nowhere else and enjoy something new at GAMES! Bring your favorite strategy, family, party, card, dexterity or board game along to play or give something else a try. It's always a good time, guaranteed (or your admission fee is refunded 100%).

We're putting a copy of Power Struggle into the Prize Vault to replace Cargo Noir, so don't miss that. Just fill out an entry slip and drop it in the can, completely free! All you need to do is stay until the drawing (and have your slip drawn, obviously) and you'll go home a winner.
