This is the month when we celebrate Christmas, but that doesn't mean we can't also play games. This Saturday, December 12th, from 3-9pm, we'll do just that. If you need a break from holiday shopping and the insanity of the season, you should come relax with us and play some games.

To replace the Connect 4 game that was won last month, we'll be adding Mastermind to the Prize Vault. As always, we'll draw one name from the entry slips and the winner (who must be present to win) will go home with a free game.

We won't be doing Car Wars this month, but we'll still have plenty of fun games to play or you can bring your own. If you can't make it, we'll do it again for you in January. We look forward to seeing you!

This month's GAMES! event was a blast again. We had 35 people attend and we gobbled up nearly eight pizzas. For the first time ever at GAMES! we held a Car Wars Arena Deathmatch (sadly, none of the competitors actually died, so no victor was crowned) and it was very well received; I'm planning to run it again at a future event. In addition to that, there were tons of other games being played, including Starfarers of Catan, Colosseum, PitchCar Mini and others.

Bella's name got drawn from the door prize entry can after two others who had already left for the evening, so she won the prize. After much debate and coaching, she ended up taking home a brand new, double-sided Connect 4 game.

We all know that December can be a busy month with all of the usual holiday cheer, but we're still planning to hold GAMES! on the second Saturday, December 12th from 3-9pm. If you don't have anything else to do, come celebrate the season with us!

It seems like it's been forever since we had an event, but it's really only been five Saturdays (October had an extra one). We'll finally be gaming again this Saturday, November 14th, from 3-9pm. If it's been a long time since you've made time for some gaming goodness, perhaps you should carve out some time to join us.

This month we'll be adding the Ticket To Ride Dice Expansion to the Prize Vault and, as always, we'll be drawing for a winner of a completely free game to be given away during the event.

Come on out and bring your favorite board game, we'll have plenty of other folks to play it with you. There's even a small chance that I'll run a game of Car Wars, depending on interest and attendance. No matter what, we'll have a good time and we would really like YOU to participate. Will you?
