Congratulations, you've found the brand new website for GAMES! @ BRBC. GAMES! is a new monthly game night designed to be as much fun as possible in a friendly, open environment. There are plenty of games to play, spanning the full spectrum from traditional family board and card games to "gamer" games and even some active games, like foosball, darts and ping-pong. We welcome anyone college-age or above (yes, you can bring your kids) to bring their games and come have a good time!
Our facility is basically a gymnasium with a concrete floor, kitchen access and clean restrooms. We will have a good number of folding chairs and tables plus an area for the "active" games (ping pong, darts, etcetera). The building is handicap accessible and is easy to find. You can find map links under Information on the right side of this page.
We'll be updating this website regularly with new information, photos and tournament results. If you have questions about anything you see here—or don't see here—please contact us and we'll do our best to get you an answer. If you'd like to join our mailing list, just send email to the webmaster.
One of the most exciting things about GAMES! is that not only will we be playing games, but we'll be giving them away too! We're not sure whether they'll be prizes for tournaments or just door prizes that you could win just by showing up, but there are a few different games available as prizes and they won't cost you anything. In addition to donated games, all proceeds from the GAMES! Kitchen will buy more games for the prize vault.
Although we are still making some final adjustments to this webpage, this is where you can always find the latest news and commentary on GAMES! so add a bookmark, if you'd like, and come visit again. If you've got a few minutes now, you might as well look around a bit. On the right you'll see the first four dates, followed by a sample of the games that we can play* and other information about the kitchen and the location. Don't forget to put our first event on your calendar now and be sure to come check it out; it won't cost you anything, so what have you got to lose? Bring your collection of games (or maybe just part of it) and join us!
*since this event is hosted at a church, we do request that new games be approved by the Game Coordinator which can be done on-the-spot, just bring the rules for the game and we'll let you know right away if it's okay or not.
