Well, a lot has certainly happened in Cedar Rapids since our last event in May. In light of (or perhaps in spite of) all the craziness, this seems like a good time to get together to relax and enjoy some games. (If it's nice enough outside, we might even set up a volleyball/badminton net.) Our next event is this Saturday, July 19 from 3-9 PM.

Since we're in the midst of summer, the Kitchen menu will consist of various picnic fare items. A tentative menu is posted on the right, and the official menu will be posted by Friday morning.

We have added Ticket to Ride: The Card Game to the Prize Vault since the last event. You can see the rest of the contents of the Prize Vault in the column on the right.

It's June 6 already, and I haven't yet posted the notes from May's event! We had a good turn-out of 30-35 people, and there were quite a few different games going on throughout the event (including a game that one of the attendees created). The pictures are already posted at the bottom of this page.

Kris L won the door prize for the night, she picked Blokus Trigon for her prize. We hope to add another "gamer" game to the Prize Vault before the next event.

Our Kitchen Coordinator will be absent this time, so we are going to order pizza to simplify things a bit. You can see the full menu on the right.
